Google will update its policy on Display and Video 360 suspensions at account level this month.
Google provided the following update and it is available on their Ad Policies Help page.
Google will make the Disapprovals page more user-friendly by adding a policy article specifically for Display & Video 360. Advertisers will be suspended if they violate the following policies.
- Systems that circumvent
- Coordination of deceptive practices
- Counterfeit
- Promotion of unlicensed pharmacies
- Inacceptable Business Practices
- Violation of Trade Sanctions
- Sexually explicit content
A new policy page will explain that an account of a partner will be suspended if it is found out that the advertiser has been involved in repeated or predominant policy violations.
Advertisers and partners will both be able to appeal account suspensions. A link to the appeals form is included in the new article.
Why we care. Display and Video 360 partners need to ensure that their ads conform with the new policies in order to avoid suspension or violation.
