probably already have Google Analytics 4 installed, but you’re still learning to use it.
We received 400 responses in just 48 hours to our Google Analytics 4 poll.
We asked:
How prepared are you and your team to switch to GA4 from Universal Analytics when the time comes?
Are you ready to use Google Analytics 4? Take our poll to let us know what you think
In spite of a lot of frustration almost a quarter said that they have already implemented GA4 and are using it. Over half of respondents said that they were learning to use GA4 but had already implemented it. Nearly 16% of people have set it up, but they haven’t started using it.
These statistics show that, whether they like it or not, more than 90% our readers are on board the GA4 train.
Only 2,6% of respondents stated that they did not plan to use GA4. Only 4.6% of respondents have not yet set up GA4.
Why do we care? This looks at first glance like a vote for Google’s analytics. There are many options to GA4. It’s not as simple as that. It’s possible, rightly or wrongly to use a tool that you don’t really like.
“An unfinished item rushed to the market.”
The GA4 software is not ready for the mass market. The UI is horrible.”
“Terrible user interface, terrible reporting.”

We may need to wait to see if GA4 can work for people or if frustrations make alternatives more appealing.
