al Search is now available in Bing Chat

Bing Chat supports visual search. This means that you can upload or take a photo and Bing Chat will respond with answers based on the visuals. Microsoft Bing announced that Visual Search in Bing Chat was now available on desktop and mobile.

Why we care. Bing Search introduced this feature in 2018 while Google Lens is available. Google also just rolled out <a href="https://searchengineland.com/google-expands-bard-to-more-countries-more-languages-and-adds-new-features-429339#:~:text=Images%20for%20prompts.%20As,expand%20to%20new%20languages%20soon. Google Lens was launched in Bard the week before last.

You can now ask Bing chat for more information about what you see or a screenshot that you have.

It can be fun to combine visual search and AI, but you shouldn’t believe everything that appears on the AI search feature. They can still hallucinate.
