le Testing Links directly in Search Generative Experience Snapshot Answers

Google has begun testing the ability to display links in the search results generated by Google’s new Search Generation Experience. By links, I do not mean the cards in the upper right corner of the AI-generated response but the actual answer.

Why do we care? The Search Generative Experience has been criticized for not allowing you to click directly from the text of an AI-generated response to the original source. The addition of links to these generative responses makes this experience much more useful. It’s nice to see Google testing this, and I hope it becomes more widespread.
