le Search Generative Experience now includes videos with AI-generated answers

Google’s new Search Generated Experience can now show not only images but also playable videos in the AI generated answer. Google said that you will see videos in some overviews over the next week. This is because it’s useful to see things moving.

What it looks. Google sent us an image of a screenshot that showed a video embedded in the AI generated answer to a question on [how do you remove stains from marble type]. Click on the image to see it larger:

Further improvements. Google has confirmed that it will be adding links to the AI-generated responses, which we reported yesterday. Google said that it added the publish date to each link “to help you better understand when this information was published.” Google will continue to “experiment with new, easier methods for people who are looking for web pages that support the information in AI Overviews.”

Google said that it would continue to improve the speed of these AI-generated responses, following ‘s significant improvement in the speed the answers early June. Google stated, “We’re continuing to test new, easier methods for people to locate web pages that support the information in AI Overviews.”

Why we care. You can now see your videos in the Search Generative Experience, along with images. As we mentioned yesterday, links in these answers will help drive more traffic to your website. Finaly, faster answers mean that more people will read the answers instead of just scrolling by them if it is not fast enough.
