eto’s July Releases: A Manager’s Guide //
Marketo has released a native feature for creating Smart Campaigns visualizations. Engagement Map is a feature that allows users to explain how smart campaigns are more efficient.
Web Services Error is another feature that was released last month. It identifies the API users who are responsible for an error. This feature will help reduce the amount of time required to troubleshoot notifications for web services errors.
Engagement Map provides detailed visualisations of Smart Campaigns
Engagement Map visualizes Smart Campaigns. The visualizations are vertically-oriented and include tiles, cards, lines, arrows and text. Smart Campaigns that include several filters, triggers and flow steps may result in an image too long. Visualizations can be exported in high-resolution PNG format, allowing viewers to zoom into specific sections of the image.
Why we care. Marketo users will be blown away by Engagement Map:
- When you are trying to explain campaign specifics, visuals can be worth a thousand written words. When working with colleagues who are not Marketo users, sharing visuals that explain the logic and flow makes it easier.
- Marketo now has the ability to create visualizations of campaigns flows. Marketo users don’t have to use LucidChart or other third-party applications to create these charts.
- The onboarding of new users will go faster. Newcomers will be able to use the drag-and drop functionality of Engagement Map.
Click on the “Build In Journey” button within a Smart Campaign.
Engagement Map was released on August 1st in a “view only” mode. This means that users are not yet able to create a flow. This feature is compatible with older versions. Engagement Map allows you to visualize campaigns that have already been created.
Web Services Error shows which API user created the error
Web Services Error Notifications are another feature that is highly anticipated. The “User”, which contains columns for Error codes and Counts, is displayed. Admins can pinpoint the user who caused the error. Marketo subscription names will be displayed in the notifications, allowing admins to easily identify which instance is affected.
Why is important . This feature reduces the time spent troubleshooting. Users used to spend hours on errors, and would often contact Marketo Support to determine who was responsible. Now admins can identify who made an error and reduce the time spent on troubleshooting.
Marketo Sales Insight has been enhanced
Now, the settings for unsubscribe append can be modified to display unique messages. Admins have control over when, where, and what message will be displayed in the different sales emails. The unsubscribe button was previously in the footer, and it could not be modified.
Dynamic chat support for Sales Insight has also been updated. Sales Insight now shows chat activity. This feature allows sales teams to view Dynamic Chat interactions from their Insights Dashboard, Lead and Contact panels.
