23% will invest in X over the next 12 months.
According to a Search Engine Land study, less than a quarter (24%) of digital marketers intend to invest in X (formerly known as Twitter) during the next twelve months.
The percentage of digital marketers who invest in X is continuing to decline, from 27% in the first quarter to 17% this third quarter.
The platforms where digital marketers are planning to invest. Google, including YouTube, and Meta properties Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook, together with 81%, will be the platforms that most digital marketers invest in over the next twelve months.
- Microsoft’s LinkedIn social network for business will be the target of 40% of digital marketers. Digital marketers will invest in other Microsoft properties such as Bing.
- 27% of the retail media networks surveyed said they were planning to invest in Amazon, and 11% planned to do so in Walmart.
The data. The survey was conducted in the first half 2023. After signing up for Search Engine Land’s newsletter, nearly 1,000 people participated in the survey.
