Chat is now available on Chrome, Google’s browser.

Bing Chat is now available in Chrome, Google’s web browser. Microsoft originally launched Bing chat to only work on its browser, Edge. Microsoft then began testing Bing chat support on other browsers such as Chrome and Safari. However, it was still not available for all users.

Bing chat is now supported by Chrome. Bing CEO Mikhail Parakhin wrote last week on X that Bing chat now works with 100% of Chrome. Mikhail Parakhin, the CEO of Bing, wrote on X last week that Chrome is now shipped at 100%.

Support for Safari is coming soon. Bing Chat is available on Safari, Apple’s browser. However, this is a limited trial. Mikhail Parakhin said, “We are working on Safari and hope to release it soon.”

Why we care Bing will be expanding the access to Bing Chat on more and more browsers. This should allow more people to use Bing Chat and possibly adopt it for future searches.

You can now use Bing Chat on Chrome if you have been hesitant to do so because Edge is required.
