Call for Google Ads API Version 12 //
Google Ads API version 12 will be sunset on September 27, 2020.
Before then, developers are advised to upgrade to a more recent version to ensure that API access will not be affected.
Why we care. Updates to APIs have a direct effect on the way advertising campaigns are run. Requests using an older version will fail when it is no longer supported. This can cause campaign management to be disrupted. It’s crucial to use the latest API versions in order to avoid this. Advertisers and developers will be able to access the latest features and ensure campaigns are running smoothly.
Timetable for depreciation. Three major versions can be available at a time, with a life expectancy of 12 months. Minor versions, however, have a 10 month support period. The developers are only allowed to upgrade two times per year. However, you don’t have to do it in a strict order.
Below is a table listing the deprecation dates and sunset dates of each version available, as well as projected release dates for new versions.
Migrate ASAP. Visit the Google Ads API Documentation to migrate to the latest version.
