le Search Console may soon have content ideas
Google Search console is testing a new feature called “content ideas.” This gives the content creator, publisher and SEO some advice on new topics that they can write about for their website.
Experimental feature. This feature isn’t available to me in my verified Search Console profiles. Nicolas Ockier saw it, however, and shared this screenshot on Mastodon.
It looks like Question Hub. This is very similar to the Google Question Hub, which was launched in the US two years ago.
This tool gives you topic ideas to write about and post on your website.
What is Question Hub? Google explains that Question Hub is a tool which enables creators create richer content through the use of unanswered questions. Question Hub gathers unanswered questions from users and presents them to writers, bloggers, and content creators such as you.
It’s a way for Google searchers to tell Google that search results are not answering their query. Google then takes the questions and feeds them back to publishers who can create content that answers the query.
Similar content ideas are available.
Why we care. It can be difficult for writers to create content ideas. This may help content creators. Google has more content to index, crawl and rank in search results. This feature might be available in your Search Console. If not, you can use Question Hub to test it until then.
