will Threads Search be available? //
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, said that Threads will soon have search capabilities.
Zuckerberg announced the news through Threads an hour ago. However, it is unclear when this will be released. If he’s hyped it up, then the Threads search is near.
Why we care. Threads was launched without many basic features that were expected, such as the option to search posts by words. There are still frustrating limitations to searching only for accounts. However, it appears that this will change in the near future, giving you more chances to discover your posts.
Search is being tested. Threads Search has been tested in New Zealand, Australia and TechCrunch . We don’t know exactly when Search will be rolled out to other English-speaking nations.

What Meta has to say. The company stated that it is “actively listening to community feedback and working on new features to improve search experience”.
It’s better late than never! Threads only took five days to reach 100 million users. In the weeks that have followed, however, engagement has decreased. We’ll find out soon if can reverse the downward trend of Threads by launching a web version of Threads, and by having a search that is actually useful.
