Users can now search for posts in Threads.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, announced that the new feature has been rolled out in most English- and Spanish-speaking nations including the US and UK.
Threads’ mobile app as well as web app now offer a new search function.
Why do we care. Customers can now search and discover new brands on Threads. This could lead to increased visibility.
What’s new? When Threads launched in July 2007, it had a search function, but this was limited to users and not posts.
After testing in Australia, New Zealand and Australia last month Threads’ new functionality for searching allows users to browse through posts by keywords. Here is a screenshot showing the new feature:
