Microsoft has launched two new automated bid strategy to help advertisers “reach their target audience with minimum effort”.

Pilot testing is currently underway for the two new products, with a general launch planned for October 2023.

The tech giant also expanded into 58 additional markets, meaning that its ads are now being served in 187 different countries around the world.

Why do we care? Automated bids can save advertisers a lot of time and energy, as AI does the heavy lifting. It will improve the performance of your campaign without you having to do anything. You still maintain control with these new bid strategies as you can set your budget, and you choose the way you want to measure results.

What is Audience Ads (Microsoft’s native display ads)? Microsoft’s native display ads are Audience Ads. These products allow you to target the ideal audience using Microsoft’s understandings of consumer interests and intent signals. These ads will then be displayed in various places on the internet, such as Microsoft’s MSN Start, Outlook and others.
