Webmaster Tools’ performance report now includes Bing Chat data, but it is not possible to filter the data by this.
Microsoft launched a new report in Bing Webmaster Tools which incorporates data that Bing has never provided. Bing previously only reported on web search and crawling, but now the report includes metrics for Bing Images and Bing Videos as well as Bing News and Bing Knowledge Panel.
Bing chat data? Bing Chat is included in this data, but it cannot be filtered out. This is not surprising, as Bing has not released individual Bing chat data in a long time.
Fabrice Canel, from Microsoft , wrote: “With this latest update, we have improved Bing web by combining chat and web clicks and impressions. We now offer performance information for many new verticals or questions, Bing Images and Bing Videos, Bing News and Bing Knowledge Panel. And a combined view that includes all of them.”

What’s new? Bing previously only displayed web-specific information in this report. Bing now shows data from News, Images, Videos, Knowledge Panels, and groups Chat data together with Web data.
The web data includes impressions and clicks for Bing Web Search and Bing Chat. You can now also access new data on clicks, impressions, and click-through rates from Bing Images Bing Videos Bing News Bing Knowledge Panel.
Web search only shows clicks, impressions and CTR data at the keyword and page level. Bing Images Bing Videos Bing News and Bing Knowledge Panel only display clicks, impressions and CTR data. Pages, keywords or average position will not be shown.

Why do we care? We didn’t receive Bing Chat data, but we gained more Bing data sources to report on. By gaining deeper insights on their website’s performance, SEO professionals will be able to refine their strategies, compare and optimize their content, as well as their online presence, to maximize clicks and impressions.
