Google Webmaster Tools now adds spam warnings about ‘cloaking and unnatural links’
Google Webmaster Tools began sending two types of warnings in 2011 – “unnatural hyperlinks” and “cloaking”.
These messages were sent when Google discovered pages that used techniques that were not in line with its quality guidelines.
Google was talking at the time about its desire to expand its outreach to webmasters. This video, published Dec. 18, 2010, shows Matt Cutts from Google (featuring Danny Sullivan), stating that Google wants to make communication a priority for 2011.
