BigCommerce’s view.
Integrations with partner apps like Microsoft Ads and Listings increase the value and opportunities we can offer to our merchants around the world to reach millions more potential customers searching across the Microsoft Advertising Network,” Sharon Gee, vice-president of revenue growth and general manger of omnichannel at BigCommerce, said Sharon Gee. Our merchants will be able to seamlessly expand their omnichannel operations and unlock new channels of growth by adding another strategic partner integration to our list. It works. BigCommerce merchants have the ability to sync product catalogs directly with Microsoft Merchant Center. The BigCommerce Control Panel allows them to create shopping campaigns and monitor campaign performance.
BigCommerce merchants will benefit from the partnership by:
- Expanding audience reach through other channels. Merchants have the opportunity to show products to millions of potential buyers via Microsoft Bing, MSN and Microsoft Edge, as well as syndicated partners like Yahoo! AOL and Microsoft Bing, just to name a few.
- Enhanced shopping experiences can drive more traffic. Merchants can now filter product feeds using specific attributes to deliver richer ads and narrow search results. This can help increase click-through rates and conversion rates.
- Optimizing and monitoring ad performance in real-time. Merchants can view campaign performance in a snapshot view, or run detailed reports on a broad or granular scope with key elements, or side-by sides comparisons of different ad campaigns. You can make changes in real-time to your status, budgets, and bids. Additionally you have access to personalized tips and customer support for better results.
Why we care. Jason McKay, senior director, global partner sales, Microsoft Advertising says:
The Microsoft Advertising Network connects BigCommerce merchants to people with greater buying power, are more likely engage with ads and make more online purchases. BigCommerce merchants have the ability to connect with customers in new ways using Microsoft Ads and Listings. This allows them to achieve a strong return-on-investment and long-term growth.

Microsoft could use this partnership to double its ad revenue up to $20 billion. It’s a positive step for merchants and advertisers looking to expand beyond Google and Facebook.
