eb3 Partnership launches Immersive TV Experiences //

Oorbit, a 3D cloud streaming platform, announced a partnership at CES with LG Electronics to allow users to experience immersive experiences on LG TV sets.

Oorbit hosts multiplayer and other virtual experiences, which users can access using a persistent digital ID.

Immersive music. Oorbit hosts virtual concerts and other immersive musical experiences through the ELYNXIR virtual environment created by PIXELYNX. PIXELYNX was founded by Deadmau5 (a Grammy-winning producer) and Richie Hawtin (an electronic musician and DJ).

Oorbit users who create a digital ID with Oorbit can join ELYNXIR experiences, as well other multiplayer experiences via game makers that connect to Oorbit.

PIXELYNX is also working on a mobile application. They are aiming to offer immersive concerts and exclusive music to their fans.

Multiplayer gaming. Oorbit has access to Auxworld, a no-code metaverse platform developed by Auxuman software company. Auxworld allows creators to create their own virtual worlds and users can interact with them.

Pooya Koosha (CTO and cofounder of Oorbit), stated that “We’ve been working hard on the hardware, networking and software layers to create a metaverse for nearly a decade” in a statement. Our proprietary technology is the connecting tissue that connects virtual worlds together. It makes it easy for brands and developers to bring their experiences into this metaverse. Oorbit and Auxworld offer an infrastructure that allows creators to create their own worlds. This allows many virtual users to collaborate, play together, and jump from one experience to the next. This means that users can access other worlds at least when they use Oorbit as their jumping point. Interoperability is the key to all the joy about the metaverse. That’s why skeptical people are cautious about whether such an interoperable network will be available anytime soon.
