Google Panda is now a core ranking signal

Google Panda was integrated into Google’s core ranking algorithm in 2016.

Google Panda is one of Google’s most important spam-fighting algorithms. It was first launched in Feb 2011. The final confirmed refresh was Panda 42 which began rolling out July 18, 2015.

A Google Panda algorithm guide was published on The SEM Post. It included several quotes from Google about Panda, including a statement that Panda is now part of Google’s core ranking algorithm.
