Google has opened up the local vehicle inventory beta feature to all US-based dealerships that use the cars for purchase feature in Google Business Profiles. Greg Gifford reports Google has now opened this beta feature to all US-based dealers.

Cars for Sale. Google now allows any product with a vehicle identification number to use the “Cars for Sale” feature in Google Business Profiles. “Up until this week, only US-based dealers were able to list their inventory on Google Business Profiles. Anything with a Vehicle Identification number is now eligible for listing. Greg Gifford explained that this means that all types of vehicles, including motorbikes, powersports, and commercial vehicles, are now allowed to be listed.

These steps will allow you to manage vehicle listings using your Business Profile account.

  1. Access your web Business Profile account at business.google.com/locations.
  2. Select View your profile for the company you wish to modify settings.
  3. Click Edit profile and click Vehicle listings.

These steps will allow you to manage your vehicle listings using a Google Search:

  1. Search for the name of your business or “my company” on Google Search.
  2. Click Edit profile and click Vehicle listings.
