Microsoft launches the Bing Network
Microsoft launched the Bing Network in 2016, marking the end to the Yahoo Bing Network.
Bing Ads served ads on a significant percentage of Yahoo’s search results.
The renegotiated search agreement between Microsoft and Yahoo resulted in the Bing Network, originally a 10-year contract. Yahoo and Bing were responsible for managing their accounts, while Yahoo was responsible for selling ads.
