Webmaster Tools for Bing Chat and Index Coverage Reporting //
Microsoft Bing will update Bing Webmaster Tools with new reporting tools and tools. This includes the new Bing Chat feature, and an index coverage report. Fabrice Canel (Principal Product Manager at Microsoft Bing), announced this in a keynote at PubCon Austin.
Bing Chat in Webmaster Tools. Bing Webmaster Tools will soon include a Bing chat integration. This will allow publishers, content creators, and site owners to view how much traffic chat is sending to their sites. It will be included in the Bing performance report, which will show impressions, clicks and click through rates, as well as other information.

Index coverage report. Fabrice also announced the release of a new index coverage report to Bing Webmaster Tools. This report will provide information about how pages on your site have been indexed by Bing Search. This report will show you if pages are being removed or not being indexed.

Why we care. Publishers, content creators, and site owners will benefit from a report showing how many people have visited our sites and clicked on our links. This is in light of all the confusion, stress, and concern surrounding chat AI features. Site owners can also use the index coverage report to help them understand which pages are not being indexed so that they can improve indexing via sitemaps, IndexNow, or other methods.
