Google has confirmed that the February 20,23 product reviews update has been completed. This update was officially launched on February 21st, 2023 and has been in effect for 14 days.

Update on February 20,23 product reviews. Reminder: The February 2023 product reviews updates began to roll out around 5 p.m. ET on February 21. After it was announced, this update took 14 days for it to be released. This update was released on February 21st and continued until March 7, 2023.

Similar to previous product reviews updates, this update was wider in scope and affected more languages than English. This update also affected Spanish, German and French as well as Italian, Vietnamese, Indonesians, Russians, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, and Polish languages.

Why we care. You should check your ranking if your website contains product reviews. Is your Google organic traffic increasing, decreasing or staying the same?

You will want to make sure that your product reviews are more detailed and thoughtful in the long-term. It should be unique to stand out from other reviews on the internet.
