ips to Improve Your AI-Assisted Content Creation Process

We already know that AI tools such as ChatGPT are able to assist us in content generation, keyword search and other SEO tasks. Although it’s the newest shiny object, there are drawbacks.

It is vital that you ensure that your content outputs don’t cause you any problems if you have started to use AI tools.

These 17 tips will help you make AI-assisted content creation even more enjoyable.

1. To find the best content, use research prompts

It’s been quite interesting to play with research prompts recently. Use ChatGPT, an AI tool, to use the prompt

It will return a list that is incorrect.

This means that the content is unlikely or impossible to exist.

You’ll likely get an accurate answer once Microsoft Bing or Google launches their respective in-SERPAI tools. We’ll be using this method differently for now because this is not the best way to go.

AI tools will give you an answer that they believe you’ll enjoy. Some articles can be given very creative titles.

Here’s how I use this approach.

Take the items from that list and put them in Google one at a time.

You will find results that are similar to the ones you searched with an AI tool.

This is a long-tail query that you have probably never seen before.

Google (or any other search engine) will show you the closest content matching the article title AI suggests.

This method opened up new creative possibilities for me and provided me with content I could use in my research. This tip may evolve like AI. We’ll see.

2. To build your short, use articles you find

Take the H2s of articles that you have found interesting as part your research to help you create a detailed brief for an AI-writing tool.

To list headers, you can use a Chrome extension like Detailed SEO.

You can quickly copy and paste the information from this page into a document, or spreadsheet.

You can generate more H2s as you write content. Later, you can include them in a brief for an AI-writing tool.

3. AI can be used to create a short to rank on Page 1.

AI tools can be used to help you create a brief that ranks on Google. Here’s how.

Follow the steps of your SERP analyzer tool (such as Frase, Surfer SEO) to find out more.

You can grab all the H2s from the most popular content and then pull them into a short creator.

Depending on which tool you use, an AI tool might be available that can create the content.

Warning: Google has explicitly warned SEOs against using AI to rewrite content.

This is why I don’t recommend it.

This is what you are doing: researching the SERP.

Mixing AI and human content will always be a challenge.

Here’s the next tip.

4. Add something new to your content with AI

Do not copy only the top rankings.

AI can be used to create something new and stand out among the sea of existing content.

This can be done by going to the tool that you used to assemble your brief or adding your own brief to ChatGPT.

You can use a simple prompt like:

ChatGPT will respond with something similar.

You will be able to add additional aspects that you didn’t consider.

This can be done several times so you always have everything.

5. The quick first draft

You can quickly create a draft of your first draft by using a brief.

It’s not about creating a beautiful article. The idea is to let the AI tool do the heavy lifting.

Use your favorite AI writing tool to create your brief.

Next, create a quick draft using the tool.

It will probably read OK, and be quite wordy. But that’s okay. You’ve been able to create something useful.

The real work begins now.

6. The first trim and skim

After you have completed the first draft quickly, you need to read, revise, and trim it.

Take a look at the article to see what’s great, what’s bad, and what could be improved.

Take out anything that isn’t necessary during the first trim.

This stage is about getting rid of all the fluff.

7. Each area should be researched

What? What? Not a chance.

With the help of AI you have a short and it has added some great content. You now need to learn.

One section at a. Let’s suppose you are writing a section on “broken linking building”.

You can read the articles on Page 1 or watch videos on YouTube.

To ensure that the AI provides you with the truth, it is important to know the topic.

8. The paragraph should be improved

Based on your research, you can use AI to improve each paragraph.

Write a paragraph using your knowledge. Then, use AI to improve the paragraph.

Jarvis, for example, has a content enhancer and many AI tools.

These can be used to make sure that every paragraph is as great as possible.

9. The 50/50 method

Use AI to finish the paragraph as you write.

It should be 50% AI and 50% human.

Here’s an example of what I wrote.

Here’s how an AI tool completed it for me.

It will be amazing how fast you can write this way, and how AI can provide interesting finishing sentences for your paragraph starters.

10. Artificial intelligence content can be used to detect plagiarism

AI can steal from other articles, which is one of its problems. Copyscape can help you determine if your content has been borrowed too heavily.

You can either remove it or modify it if you find any.

11. The second draft

Okay, now you have completed your first draft.

It’s now time to apply AI to polish your work.

Wordtune or Jasper tools can help you improve your copy.

Wordtune is an online browser extension that can be used to create and manage Wordtune accounts. It also offers premium and free options.

You can make paragraphs and sentences more interesting with it.

12. Add expert elements

This topic was covered in my recent article on Improving your Content. But here are nine ways you can create SEO content that people love.

These elements will give your content more humanity and less AI.

13. Use AI to detect content quality

You should now have a draft. You can now go to the tools to perfect it.

Grammarly is a content tool that allows you to use AI processes to improve your grammar and tone.

Grammarly Pro has saved my neck many times over the years.

Be aware, however: AI tools can remove the humanity from content.

14. Optimize your hooks

Make sure the article grabs attention. You must convince them to continue reading by including the title and headings.

ChatGPT will provide you with keyword-focused titles and headers.

Ask the tool to provide a list with catchy H2s that can replace the one you’ve created.

It will be a surprise what it can do.

15. Expert approval and fact-checking

Make sure you verify everything you create before you publish.

Ask an expert if you have any questions.

You could also state that the article was reviewed and approved by an expert, then link to their LinkedIn profile or website.

This is about making sure you produce factual and useful content. If a quality ratingr sees the content they will know that it has been reviewed and approved by experts, if not, by one.

16. Use AI to create a meta description

Meta Description are more of a tick box exercise in SEO these days.

Google is able to show anything it wishes, but best practice is still the best.

You can use AI tools to create them.

17. Content design

Content design is often overlooked by many people. This is about making sure your article looks beautiful and reads well.

You might consider using AI tools to create images. Many AI tools focus on images only, but it takes some time to get used to.

The results can vary depending on how brutally honest you are.

However, AI images have allowed me to win some amazing wins.

It’s worth it and much cheaper than high-quality stock imagery.

Use AI tools immediately

Use AI tools immediately if you want to give one solid piece to everyone.

That is what I mean by experiment.

AI isn’t going anywhere. Some tools, however, will.

Some will go extinct, others will be acquired by rivals and absorbed, while some will remain in existence.

You can only experience them and see the potential for how these AI tools can be used in your workflows.

Take the free trial, explore, and continue to ask yourself “How can I use this?”

This is how AI can win.
