agram launches Reminder ads and begins testing for Search Result Ads
Instagram has revealed two new products for businesses to increase visibility and discovery: Reminder Ads, and Search Result Ads.
Reminder ads. Instagram collaborated with Starz brands to create reminder ads. This streamlines the process for businesses to remind, inform, and announce users about any upcoming events or launches that might pique their curiosity.
Availability. All advertisers now have the option to place reminder ads in their feeds. This allows them to increase awareness, generate excitement and encourage consideration for future events.
It works this way: You can opt to be notified via Instagram by three different times: one day before, 15 minutes prior and at the exact time of the event.
Search results ads. Instagram has begun to test advertising in search results to reach people who are actively looking for content, businesses and products. When people tap on a post in search results, they will see ads. This placement will be available globally over the next few months.
