le Search introduces a new spam policy. Policy circumvention
Google added a new spam policy today to its search spam policies. The new policy is called “Policy circumvention”. Google could take action against your account, site or content if you find a way to bypass the current spam prevention measures.
The new policy. Google posted the updated policy here. It reads:
We may take appropriate actions if you try to bypass Google Search’s spam and content policies, undercut restrictions on content, accounts, or sites, or distribute content that has been removed from surfacing. This could include removing or restricting eligibility for certain search features, such as Top Stories or Discover. Circumvention can include, but is not limited too, creating or using multiple websites or other methods to distribute content or engaging in a behavior that was previously forbidden.
The penalty. Google stated that if you violate the policy, Google might restrict or remove your content from search results or for certain search features.
What is policy circumvention? It is basically any action that you take to circumvent the Google Search spam and content policies. This could include creating new sites or using other sites or methods to distribute the content, possibly on third-party websites or other avenues.
Why do we care. Google Search SEO services require knowledge of the spam and content policies. Although this is a new policy, the logic behind it matches most of the Google Search spam policies. You should not try to manipulate Google Search’s ranking algorithms. If you do, your site could be removed from Google Search.
