are the GA4 Custom funnel reports //
Google Analytics 4 now allows you to create custom funnel reports. This will allow you to see the steps that you need to follow in order to complete a particular task, and the number of people who abandon it between each step.
Create custom funnel reports using funnel explorations. You must create a funnel and save it to a report before you can build a custom report. Google Analytics uses the exploration to build the report. The report is then saved in a report library that contains all reports for a particular property. You can add the funnel report directly to the left navigation of the library.
Prerequisites. In order to create a funnel and add it into the navigation, you need Editor or Administrator rights.
How to create and add funnel reports. To create a new funnel report, you must first open or create a flow exploration, save it as a report and then give the report a title and description. The report can be added to the navigation by editing the collection and dragging it into the topic.
Recreating funnel explorations using reports The original exploration that was used to create a funnel report has been deleted. You can recover it by opening the report under the Explore section.
Analyzing the funnel. This analysis examines abandonment rates and completion rates as well as funnel steps and open or closed funnels. The table beneath the bar chart can be used to segment data by dimension and further analyze the data.
Customizing chart and date range. Zoom in or out to get a detailed view of the bar chart. You can also adjust the 28-day default date range by using the dropdown menu at the top of the report.
Limitations When creating custom funnel reports there are certain limitations and restrictions, including the maximum number (200) of reports that can be created per property and certain conditions not supported for funnel explorations. Once a funnel report is created, changes to the report will not affect any changes made in the exploration.
