Google just launched a beta program to reward publishers for serving long-form, playable ads.

It works. WebmasterWorld.com explains that the Rewarded Ad Gate beta program gives you the opportunity to monetize users who are most engaged. You’ll be able to make additional revenue if a user visits your site often.

1. Visitors will see the Rewarded Ad Gate on their fifth page view each month. A video or image ad can be viewed for 30 seconds if the visitor clicks on it.

3. After the ad has been submitted, a “Thank You” message will be displayed and the visitor will have access to your website.

4. The user can’t access the site if they don’t view a brief ad until their page views reset in the next month. Or they decide to view it.
