In B2B, 70% of marketing executives anticipate that digital marketing budgets will increase this year either slightly or significantly. While 19% marketers expect an increase in budgets, 24% executives do.

79% of marketers expect to use AI in their marketing strategy, while 67% are positive in general. However, 16% remain apprehensive, and 12% are indifferent. The most common use cases are personalization and content creation.

Digital B2B in April 2023. This report was produced by B2B Research firm Ascend2 and digital agency Wpromote. In April, they interviewed 348 marketers in the U.S.

Why we care. Those challenges do seem perennial. What’s most striking in this report is that B2B marketers are confident they will be able to invest more on digital initiatives, despite the economic downturn.

The Gartner 2023 CMO Spend and Strategy Survey found that between 12% and 26 percent of respondents expected to reduce spending on specific digital channels. Gartner’s sample included both B2B and C2C marketers, and also included findings from Canada and Europe.
