Google Analytics 4 now supports AMP for all publishers.

When the GA4 forced migration deadline comes on Saturday, if you are still using AMP, you can continue to measure your performance the same as Universal Analytics (UA).

Why we care. This integration allows publishers to transition seamlessly to GA4 when Universal Analytics is retired permanently this weekend.

What has Google said about AMP? Google announced it has rolled out AMP to all publishers in GA4 with less than 4 days left until Universal Analytics sunsets. In a press release, it said:

Search for daily newsletters that marketers use.

Processing…Please wait.

Why now? If this had not been done, it would have created huge problems for publishers who use AMP. They would have no longer been able track their performance once GA4 replaces UA permanently this weekend.

A deep dive: Read Google’s Guide on how to migrate to Google analytics 4 for more information. For more information on how to integrate AMP on GA4, you can also refer to Google’s measurement of Accelerated mobile pages guide.
