Google Ads has been urged to import web and app conversions imported from Google Analytics 4 in Google Ads.

Advertisers with a Google Ads account linked may have received a notification advising them of the new recommendation for import conversions.

If your GA4 account qualifies for import, you will see a card at the top of Advertising snapshot page. You may also see a similar card on Home or Insights Hub pages.

Why do we care? Importing data will make it easier for marketers to access web and app conversions in Google Ads. This means they won’t have to go back to GA4. This will allow advertisers to optimize their bids, which could lead to improved performance.
