Google’s jaw-dropping sponsored posts campaign for Chrome
Google, a search engine that is known to fight against “thin” content and paid links, seemed to have been behind a campaign in 2012 that generated both for its Chrome browser.
A Google search for “This post is sponsored Google” returned over 400 pages. These were probably part of a Google marketing campaign.
Google? How to buy links? It certainly looked like it.
It was also hypocritical, as Google was paying for the same garbage its Panda update was intended to penalize.
