Noogler: SEO can be spammed, ads can help you rank
A Googler claimed that SEO was not good for users and the Internet as a whole in 2012 and that it was a bug. Google is working to fix this bug.
Did Matt Cutts, John Mueller or another Googler say this? No. It was actually a Noogler, or new Googler.
Did this new employee make a mistake and reveal the truth about Google? No. He simply didn’t understand what he was talking.
Google did not consider SEO spam. Google stated that ads are not related to Google’s paid advertisements services or other partnerships. It also said that there was no way for webmasters to pay money to improve search rankings.
It’s all in Google Clarifies that Ads Don’t Help Rankings and That SEO Isn’t Bad.
These SEO myths still persist ten years later.

Google claims Shopify sites are in a good state of crawling after reports of stalled crawling.
2022. John Mueller, Google, stated that the problem was caused by a “temporary decrease in how we calculate how many we can crawl,” which implies that there was no issue with Shopify sites.

2017: Advertisers continued to attempt Phishing attacks to conceal their identity and push counterfeit goods.
