Google penalizes Natural News

Google confirmed in 2017 that a controversial alternative medicine website had been delisted due to a violation of webmaster guidelines, and not because it held political views.

Natural News, a pro-Trump news site, claimed that it was banned because of its political views.

John Mueller, Google’s director of search, stated that the site was being penalized for using mobile redirects. He suggested they clean it up and submit an appeal through Search Console.

Five days later, Natural News would be re-instated to Google.
