Google has reduced the time taken to generate AI snapshots by half. This was launched a few weeks back. Danny Sullivan, Google’s Search Liaison posted on Twitter that Google released a “major improvement” which reduced the time taken to generate AI screenshots by half.
The time is half. Google’s Search Generative Experience has been criticized for its slow response time when generating an AI-generated answer. It is a complaint that most AI search engines have, including Open AI’s ChatGPT or Microsoft’s Bing Chat.
Other quality improvements. Google said today that it had made “numerous quality updates” in the Search Generative Experience, but did not elaborate on what these quality updates were.
